Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to get all homes

As we’re making our way through Dragon’s Dogma 2, we currently only know of a few homes you can purchase in Vernworth and Bakbattahl. These are either offered to you from quests or just walking by the house owner. Here’s how you can get these houses for yourself so you don’t have to constantly rely on sleeping at inns to heal.

Common Quarter

The first and cheapest house you’ll come across in Vernworth is this private dwelling in the Common Quarter of Vernworth. At some point during the start of the game, you’ll come across Mildred who would like you to stay in her house for free for a week.

After a week she’ll give you the chance to purchase it for 20,000 gold. It’s pretty tiny, but it’s got all you need. There’s a chest to clear out your inventory and a bed to sleep on.

Noble Quarter

In the Noble Quarter of Vernworth, you can talk to Salvatore who is standing outside of a vacant home. He’ll tell you that he’d like you to purchase it since no one has any use for it, but it’s a lot pricier at 200,000 gold.

I’ve yet to come by this amount of money, so I don’t know what it looks like on the inside. But it’s a two-story large house in the rich area of Vernworth, so it’s nicer than the previous house.

Head to this location on your map once you make it to Bakbattahl and you can speak with Adrea. She’ll sell you this small house for only 30,000 gold, and it’s pretty spacious for the price.

As all dwellings have, you get a bed and storage. Also, by this point in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll probably have plenty of gold to spend on this abode.

Now that you know how to get a house or two in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you shouldn’t have to spend money on staying at inns anymore. They’re also great places to put your items away when your carry weight becomes too little to handle.
