Thanatos is one of the best Personas in Persona 3 Reload, with deadly dark skills that can take down even the most demanding bosses in the game. This guide will cover how to fuse Thanatos in Persona 3 Reload.
Persona 3 Reload: How to create Thanatos
Persona 3 Reload players can fuse Thanatos after they max out the Death Social Link with Pharos and reach level 78. Once you meet those requirements, you can fuse Thanatos in the Velvet Room by selecting the “Special Fusion” option. To successfully fuse Thanatos, you will need to combine the following Personas:
- Alice (Death)
- Loa (Death)
- Mot (Death)
- Pale Rider (Death)
- Pisaca (Death)
- Samael (Death)
Don’t have these Personas in your inventory? No worries; we have all the combinations listed below so that you can create them.
- Alice (Special Fusion): Pixie + Lilim + Narcissus + Titania
- Loa: Tam Lin + Mitra, Neko Shogun + Mitra
- Mot: Succubus + Thunderbird, Grimekhala + Lachesis
- Pale Rider (Special Fusion): Berith + Gurulu + Matador
- Pisaca: Nigi Matama + Pixie, Nigi Mitama + Silky
- Samael: Queen Medb + Seiryu, Saki Mitama + Genbu
How to level up Death Social Link
The Social Link with Pharos is different than others as it can’t be leveled up willingly by the player. Instead, it levels up naturally as you play through the game.
Every week before a full moon, Pharos will visit you in your bedroom for a little chat, leveling up the Death Social Link. The dialogue options you choose don’t matter during the conversations with Pharos, so don’t stress too much over that.
Continue playing through the story and fighting through the full moons until you max out the Death Social Link naturally. You will reach level 10 (max) on the Death Social Link on 11/4 when speaking to Pharos one last time.
Fastest ways to level up in Persona 3 Reload
Level 78 is the requirement for fusing Thanatos, so it’s essential to know how to level up quickly. The best way to level up in Persona 3 Reload is by fighting all shadows you encounter on each floor of Tartarus. You should fight all rare and greedy shadows you encounter, as they will reward you with nearly triple the number of experience points you would get from a regular fight.
Lastly, you can level up quickly by choosing the EXP Up card that grants bonus experience points during Shuffle Time. I received the bonus exp card nine times out of ten, so you should have no problem there!
