How to focus Exotic Armor in Destiny 2

So fresh and so clean.

Destiny 2 is slowly making it easier and easier to acquire all the favorites of yesteryear. With each new update, new ways of acquiring old seasons’ weapons and armor become available. The latest season, Season of The Deep, has added the ability to focus Exotic Engrams into specific armor parts from all the previous releases from Destiny 2. This means that no matter whether or not the season is still active, as long as you have paid for the season in the past, you can get your hands on the armor.

How to focus Exotic Armor in Destiny 2

For someone like me, my guardian’s appearance is everything. I like to get her dripped out in all the hardest garments, looking so stylish that the enemies just drop down dead from awe. This means that the latest addition to the game opens up a whole new wardrobe. With a few options to choose from, any Exotic armor from the previous seasons is now available with focus.

To focus Exotic Armor in Destiny 2, you will need to meet the requirements. First, you need to actually own the season that you want to get the armor from. These can all be bought from the game’s store, and many of them are going pretty cheap. Furthermore, you will also need the resources to buy them from Rahool. Once you know what you want, there are two options to choose from.

Option 1

This is the cheaper option but will leave you with a lot more variation in what you’re given. For the cost of one Exotic Engram, one Ascendant Shard, and 30,000 Glimmer, you can select a certain armor slot and a certain season. This will randomly focus one piece of Destiny 2 Exotic Armor for you.

Option 2

This option allows you to choose a specific piece of armor from any season you have in your library. It isn’t cheap, though, and will set you back one Exotic engram, three Ascendant Shards, 60,000 Glimmer, and one Exotic Cipher. This does mean you will get exactly what you want, but you will have to work for it.

Once you have the required resources, just make your way to Master Rahool in the tower and trade in your currencies. He will focus your Exotic Armor in Destiny 2 so you can look fresh to death.
