With the new Rainbow Six Siege update, Operation Deadly Omen, comes a brand new Battle Pass. However, as is typical, many players are struggling to get into it. Here’s how to fix a broken Battle Pass in Rainbow Six Siege.
Why is the Standard and Premium Battle Pass not working in Rainbow Six Siege?
Many players have flocked to Reddit to speak up about their Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass, both Standard and Premium, not working properly. Those who have bought it with real money are, naturally, frustrated that their hard-earned money has gone apparently to waste.
Also, players aren’t getting Battle Pass points for their matches, which puts them at a disadvantage at the start of this new season. At least they’re not at a disadvantage considering the state of PC and console crossplay.
Players who have bought the Premium Pass are being told by the game that they don’t have it, but when they try to purchase it again, they’re being told they don’t have enough R6 credits — so clearly the transaction went through.
However, considering this is a hot new update, and the Standard Battle Pass is also broken, it seems like Rainbow Six Siege is suffering from a general issue after the latest season that is affecting all players.
Thankfully, there is hope that the Battle Passes won’t be down forever. Let’s talk about potential fixes.
How to fix the Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass
Unfortunately, there is currently nothing that Standard and Premium Pass purchasers can do to fix their broken Battle Pass. It seems to be yet another launch problem that Rainbow Six Siege is suffering from.
Considering that many players are being affected by this, all we can hope for is very swift action from Ubisoft. I suspect it’ll come through with a patch, or a silent fix. Keep refreshing the game every hour or so, and soon enough, when Ubisoft does get around to fixing it, your Premium Battle Pass will be available and active.
For those who are suffering from not receiving Battle Pass points, all you can do is wait like the others. It’s clear that the Battle Pass is suffering from fresh implementation, and so sometime soon we’ll be able to actually engage with the Battle Pass and advance the ranks.
We can expect Ubisoft’s reaction to be swift, and I expect the problem to be fixed before the end of the day. Until then, all we can do is wait anxiously and try to enjoy the game. Also, for those unhappy with their Premium Pass purchase, it doesn’t look possible to refund it. You can try to open a ticket with Ubisoft, but there are no guarantees. If you’re struggling with other errors, like error code 10-0x00000000, we’ve got you covered.
