The launch of Wuthering Waves has been rocky, to say the least, and now a new issue has popped up that completely disables the game’s music for some players on both PC and mobile.
While developer Kuro Games has been hard at work releasing patches and hotfixes to address some of the more serious Wuthering Waves issues (and showering players with free pulls in the process), more glitches are slipping through the cracks as things slowly start to stabilize. The missing music glitch is an unfortunate side effect of these rapid updates, but thankfully, there’s a straightforward fix.
How to Fix the Wuthering Waves Music Glitch
If your music is disabled in Wuthering Waves, the only working fix is to restart the game. Some players have reported that starting a character trial to test out a 5-star character like Jiyan will reenable the music temporarily as well, but this doesn’t work for everyone.
Even if you fix the problem, however, it’s only a matter of time until the music cuts out again in Wuthering Waves so this is only a temporary fix. We’ll have to wait for Kuro Games to release a patch to fix this glitch as a more permanent solution. In the meantime, though, it’s better than nothing. It’s probably a good idea to hold off on progressing the main storyline until this issue is resolved since all the cutscenes will be missing music and some sound effects.
Hopefully, a fix comes sooner rather than later for the Wuthering Waves music glitch. It’s likely not a big enough deal for Kuro Games to issue even more apology pulls, but there will likely be a small statement acknowledging the bug when a patch is released. While you wait for the music glitch to get fixed, you can still farm Echoes and stock up on valuable Wuthering Waves resources like Sealed Tubes.
