Running into bugs while gaming is always a nightmare. More commonly now, games are released with a whole ton of bugs, some minor, some game-breaking, that slowly get ironed out with updates. Diablo has been mostly okay in comparison to some other releases I could mention *cough* Battlefield 2042 *cough*. However, this doesn’t mean it has been all smooth sailing for the latest triple-A from Blizzard. The Fury Against Fate quest has been known to bug out to the point of unplayability, but here are a few things you can try to fix it.
How to fix the Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate bug
The Fury Against Fate bug is one that will stop you from progressing through the quest line, which is a nit annoying if you ask me. This happens when the followers will not leave the cave in the third part of the Consumed by Pride storyline in which, you must clear a field of cannibals for revenge and honor to the fallen. The bug prevents the NPCs from entering the killing fields, stopping the progress of the mission.
The issue is usually caused by the proximity of an event that happens right by where the NPCs are. For some reason, the game struggles with the two missions happening simultaneously. I found that there are a few fixes you can try to fix the Fury Against Fate bug.
- Complete the event – By simply getting involved in the event, completing it, and returning to the NPCs, you can trigger the progression. Once the event is out of the way, they are happy to continue on.
- Log Out and back in again – A classic and one of the best fixes for the Fury Against Fate bug. Simply log out of the game, and reload your save. This can quickly trigger the mission to work its way out of the bug.
- Finally, leave the area and return – Abandon the quest and pick it back up. It should trigger the NPCs to continue on with the mission and help with the final stage of this quest.
Hopefully, these should solve your issues in Diablo 4.
