How to fix Super Credits disappearing in Helldivers 2

Where are all my Super Credits?

Helldivers 2 has had its fair share of issues since launch, such as matchmaking, server capacity, disconnections, etc. One of the most recent problems is that players are losing Super Credits after purchasing them from the store.

The worst thing to happen is to spend real-world money just for you not to get the product you paid for. Unfortunately, this has been happening to players who spend hard-earned cash on Super Credits just for them to vanish.

Check for payment confirmation

The first step is to double-check that the payment went through by checking your bank statement and looking for a payment confirmation in your email. Due to the ongoing server issues of Helldivers 2, it is very likely that when you pressed “purchase” on Super Credits, it didn’t actually complete the transaction.

I never received a payment confirmation in my email when I bought the $1.99 Super Credits offered in the in-game store. It turns out that the game didn’t register the transaction, and I had to redo it to get my Super Credits officially.

Check server status

As previously stated, Helldivers 2 has been facing many errors and server issues. Unfortunately, these issues can cause your Super Credits to appear in your in-game bank and disappear out of nowhere. Make sure to check the server status of Helldivers 2 before freaking out about your lost Super Credits.

If servers are clunky, then you need to take steps to improve your connection. I recommend closing Helldivers 2 completely and rebooting the game. Doing this can potentially help you to get a better connection with the server, allowing your Super Credits to reappear. You can also disconnect and reconnect your wifi to help improve server stability and recover Super Credits.

Contact Arrowhead Studios

Lastly, if you have checked your transaction history, received a payment confirmation, and don’t think the servers are the issue, then it’s time to contact Arrowhead Studios directly. When submitting a request to the Arrowhead support team, ensure you have proof of payment to justify your case.

Helldivers 2 has been a massive success, more than the developers expected. Due to the game’s online nature, there are bound to be issues. Super Credits are just one of them. Arrowhead has been fast with updates and patches, so I’m confident this issue will also be addressed.

I recommend that you don’t purchase any Super Credits until a month or so, allowing time for Arrowhead Studios to better grasp the servers and issues of Helldivers 2. Better safe than sorry and avoid losing Super Credits until everything is one hundred percent fixed. In the meantime, learn how to get Super Credits for free instead of spending money.
