Genshin Impact has easily become one of the world’s most recognizable games over the years, and it’s easy to see why. The always online title has ample content for players to dive into, but this can all be interrupted thanks to pesky error codes.

Error code 31-4302 has been plaguing players for numerous years, and it’s one of the more annoying ones we have to deal with. Thankfully, there’s some reliable workaround related to this code, as the routing problem of the error is more than likely related to Genshin’s files.

While uninstalling and reinstalling the game is perhaps the most drastic solution, we’d only recommend this if you cannot fix it any other way. Some of the methods we’ve listed below should do the trick, and will hopefully let you load into Genshin.

• Verify your game files via the Genshin Impact launcher.
• Restart your launcher and your computer if this doesn’t directly solve the issue.
• Head into the program files, which should be within the hard drive where Genshin Impact is installed.
  • Once here, try running the game via the .exe file that is within this folder.
• Players have also reported that within the game files, a folder titled “blob_storage” can be deleted, which has resolved this error code for them.
• If all else fails, you may have to uninstall the game and try again.
