How to fix Failed to EOS Login. Error: Timeout in Palworld

Here's how to fix one of Palworld's most annoying errors.

Palworld is a huge success that has attracted hundreds of thousands of players on launch day across Xbox and PC, so naturally, server errors are bound to occur. One common issue that Palworld players are encountering is “Failed to EOS Login. Error: Timeout.”

While most of the server issues that Palworld players are encountering are on the developer’s side since there’s a huge influx of players trying to get into the game, there are still a few things you can try on your end to connect to Palworld and start playing. If you’re getting a “Failed to EOS Login” error when trying to play Palworld, here’s what you can do to fix it.

Failed to EOS Login Error Fix for Palworld

Just like with all server-related errors, the first thing you should do is ensure you have a stable Internet connection. A wired connection is preferred over a wireless one, and make sure you aren’t downloading other games in the background or doing other things on your PC or console that would throttle your bandwidth. Also, changing your network’s DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 is always good to try if you’re experiencing connection issues.

With all that out of the way, the best way to get past most Palworld errors is to keep trying. Nearly all of the errors that players are seeing are being caused by the massive wave of players trying to get into the game on launch day. As things smooth out over time, the servers will be under less stress and you should have an easier time logging in.

Finally, some players have reported success with completely reinstalling Palworld as a last-ditch effort. While it’s frustrating to delete and reinstall an entire game just to fix one issue, it could help if nothing else is working for you.

Palworld’s server issues should stabilize after the initial burst of excitement of the launch window, so you should run into fewer errors like “Failed to EOS Login. Error: Timeout” as time goes on. With over a million players already, Palworld is a huge hit on both PC and Xbox. You’ll probably encounter even more Palword error codes in the days following launch.
