This problem comes up whenever you try to matchmake. Rather than being sent into the arena, you get hit with a bunch of nonsense numbers that represent an error code. A small number of players have stated that restarting the game fixes the issue. Solutions to use

The good news is that there are a few ways to fix the problem. It’s all about finding the right one for you, so I recommend going through all of them.

  • Disabling Crossplay: Crossplay is great for a few reasons, such as playing with your friends on different platforms. But it can cause matchmaking issues. To disable the feature, head to the gameplay section in the settings in The Finals, then disable Crossplay. It should be one of the first few options. Once you have set it off, try rejoining.
  • Change your region: There’s no real reason behind this solution, but some players report that changing your region in the same spot you disabled crossplay could work. Some players have reported that playing in a different region made the problem go away.

  • Check Server Status: More often than not, when I’m having problems connecting to an online game like The Finals, the problem is usually on the game’s end and not mine. In that case, you can check out The Finals Twitter page for any information regarding the server’s status.
  • Contact Support: If all else fails, you can try contacting someone from Embark Studios to help you out. Your problem may be unique to you. By talking to them, you may get tailored advice.

While error code TFMR0007 can cause issues for players, nothing is worse than having your account restricted. If that’s you and want to fix the problem, we have a guide that can walk you through the process
