Clearing more space
Typically, those who come into Error Code 0 simply need to free up more storage space on the device they’re playing from. This can be solved by deleting unused apps or games, or moving those apps to a different hard drive if you don’t wish to part with anything.
Looking through your device’s storage through the system’s settings allows you to see which apps and games are taking up the most space. You needn’t free loads of space, but enough to give your systems some breathing room.
Clearing your cache
Clearing the cache from your device is vital for a smoothly run system, as when it’s full, it can get in the way of typical processes, as we’re seeing here. Honkai Star Rail can be played on many devices, and each has its own way of accessing the cache folder. Don’t worry, deleting the cache won’t affect anything serious. You should ideally be clearing your cache folder often, anyway.
Alternatively to deleting all the cache on your device, you could also simply clear Honkai Star Rail’s cache.
Reset your connection
Once you’ve cleared up some storage and cleared the cache of your device, it would be wise to restart your Wi-Fi router and your device. This is simply to make sure all changes are in effect and there are no temporary bugs or hiccups that will interfere.
Once restarted, launch Honkai Star Rail. If you’re still unable to play it, then check out the next step.
Change your DNS
If the error is not solved, then you may need to change your DNS. The DNS is the Domain Name System of your device, and has been known to cause Error Code 0 for Honkai Star Rail players. The process isn’t too complicated, so it shouldn’t take you too much time.
Change the preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8, and the alternate DNS server to 8.8.4.4. Once done, you’ll have to restart your device again.
Once restarted, launch Honkai Star Rail. You should see that you’re able to play the game!
