Diablo 4 Untamed Thicket bug: How to fix freeze and crash on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S
If, as you try to progress through the Diablo 4 Untamed Thicket quest, your game freezes, and crashes, there are a few tricks you can try to get rid of the bug.
Try Exiting
First, try exiting Diablo 4 and re-entering. One cool thing about Diablo 4 is that it always autosaves when you exit, so you don’t need to worry about losing your progress. Simply shut it down, boot it up again, and try progressing through the Untamed Thicket quest.
Complete a Different Side Quest
If that doesn’t work, try completing any side quest first. For some reason, completing any side quest first before Untamed Thicket could allow the game to refresh which could eliminate the bug. You can finish any quest in Scosglen or try to knock out Traveler’s Superstition. Upon completion, return to Untamed Thicket and try to continue.
Disable Cross-Play
If you’re still running into the Untamed Thicket quest bug, you can try disabling cross-play and try a different World Tier. To disable cross-play, go into the settings and disable all the cross-play functions you find. Once complete, try progressing through the Untamed Thicket quest. If that doesn’t work, visit Kyovashad and change your World Tier. Both of these fixes are temporary and could solve your bug.
If none of these fixes work, you need to wait for Blizzard to fix the Diablo 4 Untamed Thicket bug. Bugs in games are unfortunate, but hopefully, this will be resolved quickly and you can get back to hunting for the Razorplate Unique chest armor.
