First things first, know that this issue is a glitch that is plaguing seemingly everyone. Pax Dei is still in Early Access and that means it is bound to have some glitches like the fact that some of your buildings won’t appear.
Imagine not being able to craft in a crafting survival game. Well, that’s exactly what happens to several Pax Dei users. After you build your construction hammer and claim one of your two plot slots, you will be instructed to begin building the foundations of your house and even some crafting stations. Well, each of these craftable items is available in the build menu and you can see them appear when positioning them, but they will not appear when building them. Not only that, but you will still spend your materials, which is extremely annoying if they aren’t easily found, like Clay.

I have tried every single thing like disconnecting and reconnecting, changing some menu options, and even trying to do some ritualistic stuff, but nothing works. I even tried to reposition my plot and what shed some light on this whole issue is that, after claiming it back and repositioning it, the plot appeared twice on the map, with the former and current plots being active. So, this is most likely a server or connection issue that does not allow items to be positioned in the game.
Since this is a social survival crafting game, building a house or crafting station will require it to remain positioned on the map for you and other players to see. Updating said positions will require good server stability, which the game is lacking at the moment.
Other players have found their built items disappearing after reloading the game, so I would recommend just waiting for the developers to solve this, choosing a server region closer to you, or even spawning at the lower populated area.
The building glitch error is something the developers need to figure out and fix. Once a patch is issued, this error should go away automatically. Until then, you may run into troubles.
