How to fix all quest markers showing in Starfield

An easy fix for an annoying feature.

You’ve been playing Starfield like you normally would, following one quest marker to the next. Then suddenly, on your UI, you notice every single quest marker pop up. Has this happened to you? Because I’ve experienced this, too, and I really thought it was a bug. Luckily, it’s not, and there’s an easy way to fix this issue. Let me explain how to fix all the quest markers showing up in Starfield. This way, you can easily follow one quest at a time.

Don’t fret, all your quests popping up on screen isn’t a bug, but a feature. Not sure who it’s made for, because it makes it very confusing when I’m trying to navigate from quest to quest. How you can fix all the quest markers showing up at once in Starfield is by pressing ‘V’ on the Missions screen.

Head to your menu by pressing ‘Tab,’ then go over to your Mission list. You can easily look at your missions too by pressing the ‘L’ key. Now, look at the bottom of your screen and you’ll see a few different controls explained. The first one listed is ‘Show All Targets’ with the ‘V’ key. Essentially, this toggle allows you to see nearly all mission markers at once. You can press the ‘V’ key again to turn it off.

If you’re reading this article, you probably accidentally toggled it on. Simply press the ‘V’ key, and your issue should be fixed! I guess this would be helpful if you only have a few missions available. But as someone who has too many to count, I was overloaded with around six different quest markers all up in my face. Even some users on Reddit believed that the quest markers bugged out, which was my first thought as well.

Am I missing something, or are quest markers bugged?

Hope this was able to fix your issue! If not, there may be some underlying bug happening that’s unrelated to this.

Starfield is available on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
