Horizon: Forbidden West has a multitude of puzzles for players to lose themselves in. Some puzzles are relatively simple, such as the power cell ones, where you need to carry one power cell to an empty power cell container whilst maybe charging it along the way. There’s also the door code puzzles, which require some searching and problem solving. Another type of puzzle you can do in the vast open-world of Horizon: Forbidden West is the Key Module puzzles. These puzzles involve finding key modules that open locked doors, which can be found using clues given to you by the game. One of the first ones you’ll come across during the Burning Shores DLC is the one in Fleet’s End. Here’s how to find the Fleet’s End Key Module in Horizon: Forbidden West.
How to find the Fleet’s End Key Module in Horizon: Forbidden West
Finding the Fleet’s End Key Module seems like a massive undertaking at first glance, with the trail leading you to the outside of the settlement, but it’s actually a lot easier than that. If you follow the trail to that location, the note will tell you about how people stashed it near a waterfall somewhere. This is pretty cryptic, but it turns out the location you need to find the Key Module is actually very close to the door itself.
What you’re going to need to do is stand next to the Key Module lock, then you should see a bridge to the right of the Key Module lock, perhaps the one you came over to get to this location if you came from that way. Once you’re looking in that direction you should be able to spot a small waterfall on the side of a broken building, this is the waterfall from the note.
You’re going to want to cross the bridge you can see, then continue crossing the next bridge that’s immediately after that. Once you’ve done that, you should see a vent on the side of the building, you can climb up to it using the yellow grips around here. After climbing up, you need to grapple to the vent to break it so you can climb inside. Once inside, you will find the Key Module you need at the end of a linear path. Take this back to the lock and you’ll have unlocked the door and can obtain the Brimshine inside.
