How to find the children’s ball in Dave the Diver

Dave is quite helpful to the citizens of the Sea People Village, as you’ll be taking on quite a few quests once you find this place. In Dave the Diver, when you’re not catching fish or running your sushi bar, you’ll be completing quests. One of these quests has Dave find a group of children’s missing ball, which a Megamouth shark swallowed. Where is the children’s ball in Dave the Diver?

As Dave already knows, a Megamouth swallowed the ball he’s looking for. How you can find the children’s ball in Dave the Diver is by killing the Megamouth shark around 230 meters deep. Although there are usually around two Megamouths around the Blue Hole Depths during a single dive, the children’s ball is only in one of them.

The easiest way to get there is by swimming into the Depths from the Sea People Village entrance. After leaving the front gates, swim out to the left, then up into the open chasm. This is the one you initially cleared of rubble to find the Sea People Village. You should immediately see the Megamouth shark who swallowed the ball, indicated with a blue marker. Dave even points them out, so you’ll know if they’re the right one.

At first, I thought I was supposed to make them swallow Dave to retrieve the ball. These sharks have a maneuver that sucks you in towards their large mouth. But the only way to actually get the children’s ball is by killing the shark. They’re one of the tougher species in the Blue Hole Depths, so make sure to bring your strongest weapon. My favorite is the Grenade Launcher, as it packs a punch, but also comes with a decent amount of ammo.

Just be cautious of when they’re about to do the suction maneuver, and dash out of their way. Eventually, it’ll die, and Dave will collect the ball after you loot its corpse. All you have to do now is return to the group of children, and give them their ball back.
