The current final boss is Victor and Shadowbeak, a formidable pair of enemies that will no doubt have you testing your abilities to battle. Once you have beaten them, you may want to find and capture a Shadowbeak of your own in Palworld.
How to find Shadowbeak in Palworld
Once you have beaten Shadowbeak, you will need to get yourself all the way out to the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary. This location is way up in the northeast of the map and is considered to be a very late-game area. I wouldn’t suggest going out there with anything less than a level 45 character and some serious Pals.
The area is hot, so ensure you have the Tropical Armor equipped. Also, make sure you have some high-level Spheres. I would recommend Ultra or Legendary if you plan to catch Shadowbeak in Palworld. You will also need a Pal who can fly or swim to get out to No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, as there are no fast travel points. The closest one to Shadowbeak in Palworld is Deep Sand Dunes.
How to capture Shadowbeak
Shadowbeak is a flying Pal but won’t fly too far off the ground. You can take down the flying foe easily enough with guns and grounded Pals with ranged attacks.
Like most flying Pals in Palworld, Shadowbeak uses ranged attacks to do the most damage. Keep watch for both Spirit Flame, which will pursue you with balls of energy, and Nightmare Ball, which fires an enormous damaging orb at you. Make sure to time your attacks and defensive rolls between these. There is little benefit in rushing.
Once Shadowbeak has been worn down as low as you can without killing it, use one of your higher-level Pal Spheres to capture it. If you fail or accidentally kill it, never fear. There are plenty more Shadowbeak in Palworld located on the island.
