How to find and beat Rainmaker in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ)

Make it rain.

Rainmaker is the Modern Warfare Zombies Warlord boss introduced in Season 3 Reloaded. He can be hard to find, get to, and beat, which is why I’ve created an entire guide to help you take down the Rainmaker in Modern Warfare Zombies and get his signature weapon blueprint.

  • Mwz Rainmaker Fortress Location

The Rainmaker is in Rainmaker’s Fortress which is on the island in the southeast of the Urzikstan map. It’s on Raaha Island which is southeast of Shahin Manor. Just like with Warlord Keres, Warlord Rainmaker isn’t too hard to find.

How to get past Rainmaker mortars, rocket launchers, and tripmines in MWZ

Getting to Rainmaker’s Fortress is easy, but getting through the soldiers, mortars, rocket launchers, and tripmines is challenging. I highly recommend approaching the island from the southwest side. This is where the majority of mortars are. I got constantly bombarded by mortars when approaching from the north. When you are close to the mortars, the soldiers won’t use them on you.

The rocket launcher Anti-Tank enemies are just as annoying as the mortars. I recommend taking them out first; they are located on the roof of the main building and near the helipad on the southeast of the island. I recommend you use one of the best loadouts at your disposal.

If an army of heavy soldiers, mortar strikes, and rocket launcher attacks weren’t enough, you also need to watch out for tripmines. Look for claymore red lines and long green lines on doorways. In my experience, these are only found on the outside and not inside the main fortress which is a blessing.

How to unlock Rainmaker Fortress doors in MWZ

Getting in the Rainmaker Fortress is a three-part process: First, go to a Mercenary Camp and get a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard, second, go to a Mercenary Stronghold and open the safe to get the Rainmaker’s Fortress Keycard, and third, go to the Rainmaker’s Fortress and open the doors.

This is the only way you can get inside the Rainmaker’s Fortress. Each enemy area gets progressively harder — watch out for riot shielders at the Mercenary Stronghold and Rainmaker’s Fortress. I make quick work of them with Semtex or Thermite Grenades.

How to defeat Rainmaker and what weapon blueprint does he drop

Once you’re inside, Rainmaker isn’t hard to find or defeat. I highly recommend picking all the enemies off one by one and destroying the Sentry Guns on the first and second floors. Once the coast is clear, head upstairs and unload your magazine into the Rainmaker’s head to finish him quickly.

With Rainmaker dead, you’ll get a Rift Reward that will give you the Clean House FAMAS weapon blueprint. I also got a Scorcher Weapons Case, but all the rewards besides the Clean House are random.

That’s how you take on Rainmaker in Modern Warfare Zombies! Now, you can try your luck at unlocking the three Season 3 Reloaded Schematics.
