How to find a photo of Opal as a roller-skating waitress in Open Roads

A nostalgic find.

One of the Achievements in Open Roads asks you to find a photo of Opal as a roller-skating waitress, but how can you find it? It’s not a super easy photo to find, and there are a few steps involved in getting it in your hands.

Open Roads: Where to find the photo of Opal as a roller-skating waitress?

You and your mother Opal have now made it to the dilapidated summer house. One of your smaller objectives, which leads to an Achievement, asks you to find a specific picture of your mother at her old job. You can find the photo of Opal as a roller-skating waitress in Open Roads in the bathroom on the inaccessible side of the summer home.

You’ll unlock this objective by talking to your mom about the roller skates on the ground in the living area. Upon exploring further into this house you’ll realize that the water heater fell into the hallway, blocking the other half of the small home.

The picture you’re looking for is on the other side, but all other doors leading to that side are locked. You can find another way in by entering through the crawl space on the outside of the house.

Walk around the outside of the house until you find the dog house. Near there, you can interact with an openable crawl space underneath the house. Although Opal protests, she lets you explore, and you’ll have to crawl through until you find a postcard on the ground.

There’s also a dead animal’s skeleton you can examine, but the important thing to look for here is the hatch above you. You should spot this hatch soon enough, and opening it will allow you to enter the other side of the house.

After letting Opal inside, find the pink bathroom and look in the mirror. Stuck on the corner of the mirror is the photo of Opal as a roller-skating waitress.

Speak to your mom about it, and you can tell her that she either looks like a dork, or she looks cute. I went for the cute option since it was a nice photo of Opal. You should now earn the Achievement called “Waiter Skater”! You can also now open the door to August’s old room, which is another objective.
