Grandpa is the head of the Family and is the greatest killer there ever was. Grandpa loves blood, and being part of the Family means you must collect and feed it to him as much as possible. While this may seem tedious, when Grandpa is fully fed, he will make the Family extremely powerful, making it worth your time. However, collecting and feeding Grandpa blood is a bit confusing at first. Here is how to feed Grandpa in Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Here’s how to feed Grandpa blood in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Here’s how to feed Grandpa in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre:
- Collect Blood from buckets or attack and execute Victims.
- Press the Focus Ability button to highlight objective points. This is an easy way to find Grandpa’s location as it changes each match. For instance, it is the Middle Mouse button on PC using a mouse and keyboard.
- Walk up to Grandpa until you see the White Circle appear.
- I found it is best to stand next to him on either the left or right side of his chair. You won’t get the prompt if you stand directly in front of him.
- Press the Interact Button to feed Grandpa. For instance, it is the E key on a PC using a mouse and keyboard.
You will then be given a short animation that shows you feeding Grandpa. The Grandpa meter will then increase, showing your progress in leveling him. However, when this happens, a cooldown will prevent you from feeding Grandpa again temporarily. Keep an eye out for the warning that says Grandpa is hungry again, which means you can feed him again.
How to collect blood in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
You can collect blood from buckets around the property or by attacking victims. Every hit gets a specific amount of blood. If you execute a Victim, you get a massive amount of blood to feed to Grandpa! You can only carry so much blood at a time, so avoid wasting any by feeding it to Grandpa as soon as possible. The more blood Grandpa is fed, the more powerful he’ll become.
How to level Grandpa in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Prioritize increasing his strength to locate Victims faster because Grandpa can detect Victims moving around the property and tell the Family where to find them by highlighting their location. Once at maximum level, Grandpa’s detection becomes so powerful, even if Victims are perfectly still, they will be seen. I recommend leveling Grandpa to max if you can’t seem to find a super sneaky Victim because they will be unable to hide once this level is hit.
In addition, Grandpa can provide the Family with unique abilities to aid in the hunt. Abilities to assist the Family are selected before each match and are unlocked in a Family member’s Skill Tree. You will need to choose a Grandpa’s ability based on what the other two Family members have equipped to get the most out of Grandpa. The abilities for Grandpa can be equipped in the loadout screen at the exact location as other perks for Family members.
