Pearls of Warding are essential resources to collect in Diablo 4 Season 3, but how can you farm them efficiently?
If you want to collect the blessing of Zoltun’s Warding while exploring the Vaults, you’ll first need some Pearls of Warding. Here’s how to farm them.
Diablo 4: Best ways to farm Pearls of Warding
Once you begin the Seasonal questline of Season 3, how you can farm Pearls of Warding efficiently in Diablo 4 is by grinding Arcane Tremors. These are new Seasonal activities you can partake in throughout the overworld.
Check your map, and you should spot a blue mark telling you which areas have the Arcane Tremors. You’ll also notice other markers denoting Obelisks and Braziers. To obtain Pearls of Warding, you must collect enough Elemental Cores from the Obelisks and deposit them into Braziers to summon a Herald of Malphas. You can check how many you have in your “Stats and Materials” tab.
Defeat the nearby enemies and interact with the Obelisks to earn Elemental Cores. Here’s exactly what you need to activate a Brazier:
- x3 Elemental Cores
- x50 Shattered Stone

Enemy Constructs will very often drop Shattered Stone after you defeat them, so by this point, you should have plenty. Summon the Herald of Malphas and defeat him to earn one Pearl of Warding. Then do it all over again until you have enough materials to activate another Brazier.
These Arcane Tremor areas don’t go away, so you can keep farming in one area or head to another Arcane Tremor. As a hint, you’ll always find Arcane Tremors near Vault entrances.
Now that you have a few Pearls of Warding, you can exchange them for stacks of Zoltun’s Warding in Vaults for the chance to gain extra loot by the end through Wardwoven Chests. Just remember that any time you get hurt by a trap, you’ll lose a stack of this blessing. You want to end the run with at least one stack left.
Another thing you can use Pearls of Warding for is for crafting Vault Sigils. These will get you into Nightmare Vaults, which you won’t have to worry about until you unlock World Tier 3.
