All exits and ways to escape in Texas Chain Saw Massacre

No matter which map you find yourself on in this online survival horror game, there are a few main ways to exit. How you escape in Texas Chain Saw Massacre is either by turning a pressure valve, using a fuse box, or shutting off the generator or car battery. This may seem overwhelming if you’re jumping into the game for the first time, so let’s go into further detail on these escape methods.

Fuse box and Fuse exit

Making your valiant escape in Texas Chain Saw Massacre isn’t as simple as doing one task. In most maps that I’ve played in, you’ll find Fuses and Fuse Boxes. If you repair the Fuse Box, you can open an exit door in the basement. The Fuse Box will be above ground, while the exit it connects to is in the basement.

To repair the Fuse Box, you must find a Fuse. You can find this object anywhere around the map, like other objects. I typically find the Fuse attached to another Fuse Box, but not the one you need. Take one, and use it with the Fuse Box. Once you open the Fuse Box and place the Fuse inside, you’ll suddenly realize there’s a slightly complex puzzle. Although the instructions are a little convoluted, it’s much easier than you think.

There are two rows with two different colors and numbers. Then on the left, you have six circles with colors and numbers. Simply place two of the same color circles that both match the color and add up to the number in the box. You’ll do the same for the second row.

For example, in this image above, you need two yellow circles that add up to the number nine. I simply dragged over the yellow six and the yellow three, which make up nine. The red one was easy, since there were only two reds available. After it’s repaired, make your way to the basement as soon as possible. Although the basement door is now open for you, it will eventually lock itself again if you’re not quick enough.

Pressure valve exit

Another common way to escape in Texas Chain Saw Massacre is by turning the pressure valve. In the basement of all maps, you should be able to find a large pressure tank. It only needs a red valve to turn it. Sadly, the valve is somewhere else on the map, typically above ground. You can find it attached to other objects, and it’s a highly noticeable bright red color.

Take it back to the tank, attach it, and then twist the valve. This will open the gate above ground, the one that has another huge tank attached to it. Like the last exit, it’s only open for a certain amount of time, so make sure to get there quick.

Generator

Around the exterior of all maps, there should be an exit along the main road. This is blocked by another gate, but you can’t simply lockpick your way through. In this instance, follow the yellow cable connected to the gate, and it should lead to a generator.

The generator is bright red, you can’t miss it. It’ll take a bit of time to do this, but you have to continuously kick it to make it stop working. Once that’s finished, you’re one step away from escaping. Make sure you have an Unlock Tool, because the gate is still locked manually. Just break the lock, and you’re home free!

Car battery to rear exit

The final way to escape in Texas Chain Saw Massacre is through the exterior again. This time, you can find a rear exit attached to a car battery with a yellow cable. The path ahead is electrified, so you don’t even want to try and unlock the gate. Follow the cable to find the car battery, and you simply need to interact with it and disable it. Now you can head back to the rear exit, and safely unlock the gate with an Unlock Tool!
