How to equip Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 2

Get ready to pop in your fangs.

Season 2 of Diablo 4, also known as the Season of Blood, brings a spooky twist to the world of Sanctuary. Vampires roam the land freely, terrorizing the innocent in Blood Harvest events, and you’re one of the select few who can oppose them thanks to your ability to use their own Vampiric Powers against them. These powers are perhaps the biggest new feature in Season 2, but they’re also rather unintuitive to use, at least at first. If you’re unsure of how to equip Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 2, then read on for a full guide to doing so.

How to infuse your character with Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 2

You’ll be able to access Vampiric Powers after completing Blood Money, the first quest in Season 2’s seasonal quest line. This quest ends with you clearing out a small, bat-infested dungeon known as the Wayside Cave at the behest of the Magistrate in Ked Bardu.

Once this quest is complete, you’ll immediately start a new one called The Hunter’s Chase. You’ll be sent back to the Magistrate’s Office, where you’ll meet the vampire hunter Erys, one of the major players in Season 2. After speaking with her, you’ll be prompted to equip a Vampiric Power in order to progress the quest line further.

This is where things get tricky. The game tells you to look in your ‘Seasonal Tab’ in your character menu to equip a Vampiric Power, but if you’re anything like me you’ll have forgotten exactly where that is since you wrapped up Season 1’s content. To find this tab, simply open the character menu as normal, then hit L2 to tab over to your Vampiric Powers

From here you can equip Undying, the power you received as a reward for completing Blood Money earlier, to finish the quest. This menu can also be used to randomly obtain and level up Vampiric Powers using Potent Blood, and check how many of your equipped Powers are active based on your current Pact setup.
