Where to find a dirt bike in Fortnite

First things first, you’ve got to find a dirt bike. Like most other objects in the game, dirt bikes have potential spawns as well as random spawns. Potential spawn locations are those places where it’s not 100% true you’re going to find a dirt bike parked there, but it is one of the more likely locations. For example, you’re more likely to find a dirt bike in certain gas stations than in say, Mega City. Furthermore, here’s a map showing specific potential dirt bike spawn locations in Fortnite, courtesy of FortniteGG. Remember that the spawns of dirt bikes change from one match to the next so you may not find a dirt bike on the point specified in the map every time.

Performing tricks using a dirt bike

To do tricks, first, get your dirt bike up to a high enough speed. Hills and ice-skating areas are a good place to do this because there are often not many players around and you can launch yourself off the hills to gain extra air. Plus, there are small ramps scattered throughout the island you can use. You can also stay in an area that’s quiet but without hills by simply building a small ramp yourself. A simple ramp made of four or five structures should do the trick. Jump off one and you’ll get points for hangtime since a jump counts as a “trick.”

To mix things up a bit, there are a few different stunts you can try. All of them are a variation of pressing the Shift, W, S, A, D, and Spacebar keys. To do a front flip, hold W while in the air. You can also get bonus points if you complete it successfully before landing on your wheels. Pressing A or D to turn to the side will make you do 180 tail whips while holding S lets you perform a backflip. Doing backflips mid-air seems to be the number one way to rack up trick points fast. From there, have fun by trying different keys in multiple variations to see how many tricks you can perform.

Fortnite: Scoring trick points with a dirt bike

Dirt bikes allow you to do tricks and for the successful stunts you perform, you get trick points. Trick points don’t always give you some reward, but it’s fun to see how much you can rack up in one go and how many different tricks you can perform in a row, as the on-screen points also show you the trick name. There are some exceptions, however, as we’ve often seen quests show up that involve dirt biking around the island. These can be quests such as scoring a certain amount of trick points in a single match.
