Have you been low on Rupees during your playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Or do you yearn for more valuable items? Well, you’re in luck, because there’s a new duplication glitch that’s super easy to do. Before it may get patched out, you’ll want to follow these instructions on how to do the new duplication glitch in Tears of the Kingdom. While we have already written about a way to duplicate items, this method is faster and simpler.
How to easily duplicate items in Tears of the Kingdom
All you’ll need to perform this duplication glitch is the item you want, and your paraglider. First, find an area that you can make a small jump off of. Make it high enough so that you can pull out your paraglider. Do just that, and as soon as you pull out your paraglider, go into your inventory by pressing ‘+’.

Then, select the item you want to duplicate and hold however many you want in your hands. Here’s the important part. At the exact same time, press the ‘Y’ and ‘B’ buttons. If you do it at the same time, you’ll leave your inventory and drop the items on the ground. If you check your inventory again, you should notice that your items duplicated! You can do this a few times in the air before you touch the ground.
Another way some players have done this duplication glitch is through shield surfing instead of paragliding. But I find the paragliding method better because you can duplicate an item so many more times depending on how high you jump.
You can even do this with special items like Bomb Flowers or Fire Fruit. I personally did this glitch with my gems, which was helpful when I ran low of Rupees and needed money to build my home in Tarrey Town. Whatever the reason, you now know how to do the new duplication glitch in Tears of the Kingdom!
