How to defeat the Goblin Shark in Dave the Diver

Progress far enough through Dave the Diver, and you will end up battling all manner of horrible underwater nasties. Giant Squid, mega-sized hermit crabs, and building-sized Clione all fall to the wrath of Dave the Divers‘ merciless harpoon. Dave the Diver continues his relentless massacre of the deep with the Goblin shark. This fearsome beast is threatening to eat one of the children of the Sea People for trespassing on the underwater lake it was peacefully calling its home.

How to defeat the Goblin Shark in Dave the Diver

Finding the Goblin Shark battle, first of all, requires you to receive the task from the children of the sea people. They will request that you find one of their missing friends who apparently went to visit the underwater lake. Leave the Sea Peoples kingdom and head up and right out of the depths. You will soon see the first signpost for the location. It is easy to spot as it is surrounded by electric jellyfish and a shark. You can fight these or just leave them be. Head up to the underwater lake location.

Once you reach the destination, you will be faced with the ugly-looking shark and the trapped child. It’s time to do battle. Make sure you are armed well and have a full tank of air before you start fighting the Goblin Shark in Dave the Diver.

The Goblin Shark doesn’t have too much going for it, but it is fast and it is relentless.

• Bite – Get too close, and you’ll be fish food. This takes a lot of health and only occurs when you let the Goblin Shark get too close to Dave the Diver.
• Dash – This can actually work in Dave the Divers favor. The Goblin Shark will dash forward and try to bite you. However, if you get caught, you enter into the accuracy minigame in which you must move your cursor to the right position and attack. So this is a great way of doing damage in a pinch.

How to attack the Goblin Shark

I’m not saying the best way is to let the shark catch you, but it isn’t the worst. Of course, the best tactic is to shoot from a distance, but if you do get caught in the dash, make sure you’re ready for the accuracy game.

Swim at a distance and use the benefits of the small arena. Sink as many shots as you can into the Goblin Shark. Finally, use Dave the Divers dash to stay away and utilize the ammo on the floor only after the Goblin Shark has made its move and missed.
