How to cure an Overfull Pal in Palworld

Surely it's as simple as not eating... right?

In Palworld, the Sanity of your Pals is an important thing to keep tabs on, otherwise they’ll develop all sorts of problems. Being Overfull will affect their workload and efficiency. And we can’t have that, can we?

What is Overfull in Palworld?

Overfull is a negative status condition in Palworld. When a Pal is Overfull, they’ll struggle with tasks and their efficiency will decrease.

Being Overfull is the result of Overeating, a condition that can be developed upon a Pal being under too much stress. An Overeating Pal’s hunger will plummet and they’ll regularly eat mass amounts of food. Being Overfull is the result of this.

To get your Pal back to normal, you’ll want to cure it.

Curing Overfull in Palworld

There are two ways to solve this issue in Palworld. Curing the Overful Pal, or banishing it to the Palbox and replacing it with another.

If you’re not a cruel taskmaster, then you’ll need Low Grade Medical Supplies. If you already have some, take it, and approach the Overfull Pal. You’ll need to interact with it to feed it, and then select the Low Grade Medical Supplies in your inventory when you’re prompted to feed it something.

A few problems may arise when trying to feed your Overful Pal.

If you can’t enter the action wheel because the game is not letting you, then go back to the Palbox. Put that Pal back into the box, then bring them back to base. They will spawn back in, and there should be no other facility blocking you from opening the action wheel.

When feeding a Pal, make sure you’re close. If they have walked off too far when you’re about to feed them, then they’ll get distracted on the way to you. This can become very annoying, so make sure to perform the same palbase trick to get to the feeding prompt as soon as possible.

Once they’ve eaten the Low Grade Medical Supplies, they’ll be right as rain.

How to get Low Grade Medical Supplies in Palworld

If you don’t currently have any Low Grade Medical Supplies, then you’ll need to find some. You can either craft the stuff, or find it. I’ll be going over both ways below.

Crafting Low Grade Medical Supplies

Should you have the Medieval Medicine Bench, you can start producing some Low Grade Medical Supplies. This facility is unlocked at Level 12 and costs 30 Wood, Five Nails, and 10 Palduim Fragments to build.

The Low Grade Medical Supplies themselves costs only Five Red Berries and Two Horns for one. Horns are drops from Pals such as Rushoar or Eikthyrdeer.

You can craft the medicine yourself, or you can get a Pal with the Medicine Production work suitability to do it for you.

Farming Low Grade Medical Supplies

Alternative to crafting some, you can go out hunting for them. Strangely, you can acquire Low Grade Medical Supplies quite readily in Palworld.

Some Pals drop them, such as Lifmunk, Flopie, or Vaelet. Lifmunk is the easiest Pal to farm in the early game, as they spawn quite readily, pictured below.

Also, Free Pal Alliance enemies seem to regularly drop medicines and supplies, so entering a dungeon with Free Pal Alliance enemies, fending off raids, or assaulting their camps are great ways to stockpile your medicine cabinet.

Now that you know how to cure an Overfull Pal in Palworld, why don’t you learn about dealing with upset and slacking Pals?
