The Glider is a must-have item in Enshrouded. Don’t waste any more time walking around — learn how to unlock and craft the Glider in Enshrouded now!
Enshrouded: How to get the Glider
To get the Glider in Enshrouded, you need to craft a Workbench — this is also one of the first steps you need to take to get into the beginning phase of building. The Workbench automatically and always has the Glider as a craftable option. To build a Glider, it costs the following resources:
- 8x Shroud Wood
- 2x Animal Fur
- 2x String
- 2x Shroud Spores
How to get Animal Fur, String, Shroud Wood, and Shroud Spores in Enshrouded
Animal Fur: Getting Animal Fur is easy but not easy to farm. Defeat the wolves around the Braelyn Bridge to quickly get two Animal Fur.
String: After getting your Animal Fur, snag the grass and bushes while exploring to get Plant Fiber. Use these to create two String in your Manual Crafting menu.
Shroud Spores: These are collected from defeated Shroud enemies. You’ll find Shroud enemies within Shrouds, and there’s a little Shroud spot with a few enemies just south of the cave you come out of at the start of the game. Defeat a few enemies here or anywhere with Shroud monsters to get two Shroud Spores.
Shroud Wood: This is the hardest material to get which is why I created an entire guide on it. The guide has more details to help you find Shroud Wood, but the gist is that you need to cut down trees in a Shroud to obtain Shroud Wood.
How to unlock all Gliders in Enshrouded
There are four Gliders in Enshrouded. The first is the basic starter Glider, the second is the Advanced Glider, the third is the Extraordinary Glider, and the fourth and final one is the Ghost Glider. Here is how to unlock all the Gliders in Enshrouded:
- Basic Glider – Build a Workbench.
- Advanced Glider – Unlocked via the Carpenter when you complete the quest that gives you Linen.
- Extraordinary Glider – Unlocked via the Carpenter when you complete the quest that gives you Leather.
- Ghost Glider – Unlocked via a quest in the desert biome. Once obtained, you can craft it.
Don’t worry about unlocking all the Gliders at once. You’ll progress naturally as you complete quests and explore more of the open world. Crucial to being a master in Enshrouded is knowing how to repair your weapons and tools. Make sure you learn that before heading back out.
