World of Warcraft Plunderstorm: How to complete the Daily Doubloons world quest

If you are first experiencing the battle royale mode in World of Warcraft Plunderstorm, you will see that the similarities with the base game start and end with quests.

You will get some starting quests, among them the self-explanatory Learn the Ropes or Walk the Plank quest, which will have you complete simple tasks such as swinging a sword or opening chests, all of which can be done during a match or even in the Plunderstorm lobby.

However, there is a secondary quest called Daily Doubloons, which contrary to what the name suggests, doesn’t require you to pick any type of Plunder in the matches.

This has caused some confusion, so let’s break this quest down. The Daily Doubloons quest will require you to follow and complete one of the Captain’s Orders. Yeah, I know, it is pretty vague if you are completely new to the mode. I even tried doing some of the steps from the Learn the Ropes or Walk the Plank quest to no avail.

You see, the completion of the Daily Doubloons quest is tied to the completion of another quest named Captain’s Orders. Well, thank you Captain Obvious.

  • Captain’s Orders is a quest that changes each time you start a match in Plunderstorm. Its objectives vary from getting a set number of spells, defeating a specific number of wild creatures, or even collecting a given amount of Plunder. Once you complete a Captain’s Orders quest, you will also complete the Daily Doubloons one.

Contrary to what you might think, the Daily Doubloons quest is a one-time quest, but be sure to complete Captain’s Orders each day to have Plunder – and therefore Renown – income so you can enjoy more than 40 different Renown rewards in World of Warcraft Plunderstorm.
