Fallout 76 Skyline Valley: How to complete The Calm Before quest

As soon as you get into Dark Hallow Manor, you’ll have to face a large horde of enemies. You can easily clear out the area if you have the Gauss Minigun. However, many players have reported that once the manor has been cleared, The Calm Before quest doesn’t move on. There’s no quest marker, and you’re still stuck. Restarting or server hopping seems not to work either. However, a Reddit user has found out why the quest isn’t progressing. It seems that you might not have gotten rid of all enemies after all.

After you kill all the enemies charging at you, start searching the manor for a power armor suit called the Lost Power Champion. If you find this character and approach it, the NPC will stand and start yelling at you. Now, don’t start attacking him, wait for the Lost Power Champion to start the fight. When you kill them, you’ll be able to move on, and the next quest marker should appear. This should make it easier to open Vaut 63.

Note, if you don’t get any marker, make sure you clear out the basement. The door leading to this area will be right beside the right staircase

Is this quest bugged?

The answer is sort of complicated. It is and it isn’t. Some players have reported that this bug seems to come up if you kill the Lost Power Champion too quickly. But, on the other hand, it is a Fallout 76 game, and issues like this normally do pop up. If you’ve done the above information and still can’t get the quest to progress, you might have to change servers. I know I said this doesn’t work, but it might if you kill all the enemies plus the Lost Power Champion in the manor first.

While this quest might be bugged, earning the Lost Treasures Bundle in Fallout 76 is not.
