WoW Classic: How to complete Stolen Winter Veil Treat quest in Season of Discovery

Christmas season is here since, well, Halloween ended, and we can see all the trees, lights, and various decorations making their way into our streets and, in this case, into our favorite games. That applies to WoW Classic, and during the Season of Discovery, we get to take part in one of the oldest holiday events in World of Warcraft history called The Feast of Winter Veil. As you can correctly assume, there will be various quests you can complete during this event.

One of them is the Stolen Winter Veil Treat quest, which involves a green monster trying to steal the spirit of the Feast of Winter by leaving us without treats. No, it’s not the Grinch, it’s the Greench. There’s a difference, see? Anyway, to start this quest, you will have to be at level 30 and visit the following NPCs, according to your faction:

NPC NameFactionLocationCoordinates
Wulmort JinglepocketAllianceIronforge33.7, 67
Kaymard CopperpinchHordeOgrimmar53.2, 66.6

Stolen Winter Veil Treat quest walkthrough

Each of these NPCs will have you investigate a missing shipment of treats. You will have to travel to the Alterac Mountains. There, you will find the Strange Snowman — 35.4, 72.2 — who is shaken because the Abominable Greench stole the treats. This will start the second quest in the series called “You’re a Mean One…” which will have you defeating this monster and getting back the treats.

The Greench’s location is not exact, but you will be able to find him across the Alterac Mountains near the Yetis. The monster will scream before appearing, so be wary of that. If you have brought a raid party, then you will be able to defeat the Abominable Greench in no time. Get back to the Snowman to start the final part of the quest “A Smokywood Pastures’ Thank You!”
