Both the name of this Treasure Hunt and its initial cover tile shown in the Festival Playlist menu provide a massive hint for what you’ll need to do. First, is to acquire the 1999 Ford Racing Puma. You can either pick up the stock version via the Autoshow for a mere 20,000CR, or you might also opt for the premium Forza Edition of the vehicle. Either one will suffice.

Once you’ve grabbed the car, make your way down to the southern portion of the map to La Selva. There you’ll find a fan-favorite location, the Aerodrome en La Selva. Upon accessing the abandoned airfield, send the Puma hurtling down towards the northern end of the runway where you’ll find the signature stunt ramp.

Once you stick the landing, you’ll have completed the first part of the Forza Horizon 5 Pouncing Pumas Treasure Hunt challenge.

Successfully landing the jump will unlock the clue for where the actual treasure chest is: just a few clicks northwest near De Otro Mundo. There, you’ll find one of the two massive crop circles that are near the Pacific coast and the beachfront resort. The clue area shows that the treasure chest is somewhere within the southernmost crop circle, which is the one nearest to the coast and just outside the premises of the resort.

While the clue area encompasses the entire crop circle and even a bit of the untouched desert outside of the crop circle, you don’t need to worry about trying to find the treasure chest in an obscure location. There also happens to be a Barn Find safehouse near the crop circle, but that’s not where the treasure chest is either.

Rather, the treasure chest is smack in the center of the crop circle. It’s resting just underneath the large rotating crop sprayer.

Smash the chest, and you’ll unlock its riches.

Challenge rewards

Your reward is twofold. The main reward is 100FP that will be added to your balance in the Forzathon Shop. The secondary reward is three points that will be added to the Winter season’s “Season Progress” bar.

Ultimately, this is a pretty easy Treasure Hunt to complete. And, now, we’ve just made it easier for you.
