How to complete May You Never Cease Triumph in Destiny 2

You're dealing with Savathun, so ofcourse, it's cryptic

Many of Destiny 2’s missions and rewards are shrouded in secrecy. For every quest that tasks you to “Kill X enemy here,” there’s a handful that have Guardians diving into the unknown. The May You Never Cease Triumph isn’t too technically demanding, but it’s cryptic. Some Triumphs can be hard to discover on your own, so let me show you how to complete the May You Never Cease Triumph in Destiny 2.

To complete ‘May You Never Cease,’ you must complete both Imbaru Engine Tests. The Imbaru Engine is a location accessible from H.E.L.M once you’ve reached Step 34 of the seasonal quest line, The Bladed Path.

Every step until this point is pretty straightforward, although Step 30 requires 5 Savathun Alter clears, which may take a while.

The Cunning Test

I strongly recommend equipping the Treasure Hunter Mod to your Ghost for this one. The mission is technically possible without the mod, but considering the labyrinthine area, it’s not worth the hassle.

For this Test, you must open specific chests around the area. The crates you want to open are identified by the Hive-Ghost-shaped symbol in the picture above. The first two sets of chests are easy to find and decipher, but the 3rd may give you some trouble.

The last group has random spawn locations. If you’re vigilant, it shouldn’t take too long to find all of them. Just beware of this particularly devious trick. If you see two symbols on a wall, as I have (pictured), note the direction the icons are pointing toward. There’s a chest on the wall behind these symbols, but you must open the one the icon indicates, not the one directly behind it.

Upon completing this mission for the first time, you’ll earn the “Mother Morph” Triumph for your troubles. Note that if you head down the ramp out of the area at any point, you’ll reset every chest on the map.

Obtain the Gift of Strength

To access the Test of Strength, you need to go through the doors between the chests at the start of the Imbaru Engine area. To open the door, you’ll need the Gift of Strength card.

The card is in Savathun’s Spire, in the room with the three portals before the final boss area. You can find it tucked away next to the pillar on the right (pictured above).

The Strength Test

The final step to earning the May You Never Cease Triumph is to beat The Strength Test. Go through the doors in the Imbaru Engine to start.

The Test of Strength is pretty straightforward. Walk past the enemies and activate Deepsight at the back of the room. Footprints will appear on the floor, indicating the first enemy you must kill. Once it’s defeated, take note of the direction the icon by its feet points to. This arrow tells you which enemy to dispatch next. Repeat this process as you make your way around the room.

When you reach the Cursed Thralls, you must defeat every second enemy instead. The Test doesn’t get more complicated, although you’ll sometimes be taken through walls, which can be a little tricky to follow. Carefully follow the route around the area, and you’ll eventually complete the trial and the May You Never Cease Triumph.
