In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll explore Hyrule like never before. Along the way, you’ll find yourself doing unexpected things like building a robot. However, that requires you to solve a few puzzles in the process. Here’s our guide telling you how to complete Left-Leg Depot in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom – how to complete Left-Leg Depot
Late in the game’s campaign, you must track down Mineru. This is part of the main quest, and it’s quite an involved process. If you need help, check out our guide telling you where the fifth sage is.
Once you find Mineru in the Depths, your next task is to build her a body. She directs you to four nearby depots. Each contains a missing part corresponding to an arm or leg. To complete Left-Leg Depot, you must help guide the piece through an obstacle course so you can deliver it safely to the assembly point.
The first order of business is finding the Left-Leg Depot. From the Mineru statue, it lies to the southeast a short distance. Turn so your back is to the statue and you are facing Muokuij Lightroot to the south of the Construct Factory. You’ll see glowing green lights to the left, which are your destination. The above screenshot shows the area entry point on the map.
When you interact with the pedestal you find just inside, the font gate locks behind you. You receive the leg, safely wrapped in a bulky crate you must escort. Start by carrying it just to the left and placing it on the elevator, which also has two Rocket pieces attached. Hit a rocket with the sword to launch the elevator to the upper level. This launches the piece onto the higher ledge, and you along with it.
Ahead, you will see a large wheel. Turn the wheel to lower the drawbridge just past it so that it rests at a 45-degree angle. Then attach two rockets to the case you are escorting, side by side on its top. Lay the case gently on the partially lowered drawbridge. Then strike the rockets so they launch the case forward. If the angle of the drawbridge was correct, the launch carries it across the water and to a high ledge.
Join the case on the high ledge, where it may well have traveled down a shallow stream and hit a barrier at the end. That’s what it did for me, anyway. Retrieve it and look to the right. A long runway leads to a view of the statue you’re assembling.
Grab some Zonaite from behind a nearby wall of lasers, if you like. The treasure chest holds Large Zonaite. Vow of Sidon lets you pass through the laser barrier. When you’re ready to proceed, use the Ultrahand ability to lift the case. Extend it over the end of the runway and drop it to the grass below.
Next, descend to join it. Use the Ultrahand ability to carry the case to the statue. Automatically, the leg breaks free. Lift it once again with the Ultrahand ability. Rotate it to fit in the lower right slot where the green gear icon appears. When you position it correctly, the leg snaps into place. Next, you just need to see to any remaining parts.
