Diablo 4 is packed to the brim with new features such as getting mounts, having an open world, and a much more comprehensive endgame. It truly has the footing to stand out from the rest of the game in the series. The game doesn’t just have new features, Diablo 4 also builds upon older mechanics such as Seasons. The Seasons in Diablo 4 are like the older games, you’d have one character you built for the duration of the Season. At the end of each Season, you would lose access to that hero. For the fourth entry in the series, it seems Blizzard Entertainment has added even more to the mechanic, which comes in the form of Seasonal Journeys. It works very much like the Seasonal Heros, however, this can add some complexity to the mechanic. For more help, this guide on how to complete Diablo 4’s Seasonal Journey should help.
Diablo 4: How to complete the Seasonal Journey
In order to do the Seasonal Journey you must do the following:
- Create a Seasonal Hero
- Play in the Seasonal Realm which goes live at the start of each season
If you’ve played Diablo 3 this is pretty much the same as in that game. So don’t expect much of a change other than the Seasonal Journey.
Blizzard makes it easy to track your progress during the season, in fact, completing the Seasonal Journey can be beneficial. It can help you obtain ultra-rare gear or resources and can be a great way to level up quickly. On top of that, it’s also tied to the game’s Battle Pass. More on that later.
Leveling and progressing Diablo 4‘s Seasonal Journey is quite simple. But it’s what you’ll be doing which may make things hard. Each chapter will have numerous quests you can do, but you don’t have to do all of them. To actually level up, you must complete a specific number of missions. In the image below, you can see it says complete 7 out 9 missions. As long as you complete the required tasks, you’ll always be leveling up the Seasonal Journey.
What are the rewards for the Seasonal Journey?
According to a blog post by Blizzard, you’ll get quite a bit of loot. Most of which can be either Sacred or Unique pieces. Diablo 4 also features a Battle Pass, while you’ll get gear, XP, and other resources, you’ll also get rewards to level up your Battle Pass. Regardless if you paid for the Battle Pass or not, you can still level up and earn the cosmetic rewards by leveling up the Battle Pass.
