How to complete Champions Quest and get the Nuke Skin in MW3

Become nuclear.

Modern Warfare 3 has many challenges in it, but few are as hard as this one. The Champions Quest in MW3 is a struggle for even the most seasoned Warzone players, but the rewards, including the Nuke Skin, make it all worth it.

How to unlock the Champions Quest

Before you and your squad even attempt the Champions Quest in MW3, you will need to unlock it. This is no easy task, and you will have to win either 30 games in a season or five consecutive matches. Once either of these parameters has been met, you only get one shot at completing the Champions Quest for the Nuke Skin in MW3. If you fail, you need to start all over again.

How to complete the Champions Quest in MW3

Once you or one of your squad members has unlocked the Champions Quest, it’s time to go to Urzikistan to complete the Nuke quest. Drop in with everything you have. I would suggest three plate armor vests and weapons ready to be pack-a-punched immediately. Once you drop in, you will see the Champions Quest contracts on your map. Head to one of the locations and activate it. You now have 27 minutes to complete the quest in MW3.

Collect the Geiger Counter and Elements

The first step is to head to the location marked with the Geiger Counter. Once this has been collected you will notice areas in which you can search for elements. Using the Geiger Counter in these areas will display higher numbers the closer you get to the element. Picking each of these up will have a different effect on the player carrying it.

  • Beryllium – The carrier will be revealed to enemies on the minimap, similar to an Advanced UAV.
  • Plutonium – The carrier and every squad mate will take continual damage and have distorted vision.
  • Tritium – All vehicles are disabled along with the minimap.

Once these have been collected, the next stage of the MW3 Champions Quest will begin. A plane will mark a drop site for the Nuke.

Deposit Elements in the Nuke

Once the Nuke drop point has been marked, you and your squad will have only five minutes to reach the location and deposit your elements. Failure to drop them all within the time limit will result in you failing the Champions Quest in MW3. Dropping the elements takes about 10 seconds each. Once all the elements are in the Nuke, it must be armed; this takes another 10 seconds.

Defend the Nuke

Once the Nuke has been armed, the two-minute countdown will begin. Because the Nuke will end the current game, the location is marked to every player on the map. If they can reach the Nuke, they can disarm it in only 15 seconds.

You and your squad need to defend the nuke for the chance to complete the Champions Quest and unlock the Nuke Skin. If the Nuke is disarmed, the quest will fail, and you will have to start from the beginning again. Once the two-minute timer runs down, the nuke will explode, and you will have completed the quest and won the game of Warzone.

Rewards for completing MW3 Champions Quest

If you have somehow managed to complete the Champions Quest, a lot more than just the Nuke Skin is unlocked. You can expect to have access to these Modern Warfare 3 goodies also:
