As you’d expect, the rewards for this set of challenges are jackets, hats, and hairstyles that were surely all the rage in the 80s. It’s the perfect next step for survivors who have just completed the Human Basics challenges since it requires you to familiarize yourself with some of the more advanced human mechanics in Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

All Teenage Angst Challenges in Killer Klowns from Outer Space

There are six Teenage Angst challenges in Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

  • As an Athletic Archetype, escape 5 Invasions.
  • Escape 3 Cocoons with a Knife.
  • Hit 5 Klown noses with thrown objects.
  • Consume 10 energy drinks.
  • Loot 100 containers.
  • Complete 5 Perfect Escape-based interactions.

These challenges can be completed just by playing matches as a human in Killer Klowns from Outer Space, especially if you’re a more aggressive player who doesn’t shy away from conflict with the trio of hostile Klowns and their Lackeys.

The first challenge requires you to escape five Invasions while playing as an Athletic Archetype, which just means to successfully escape five matches while playing as the default human class. While you’re playing through those matches, loot every container you see so you can climb your way to 100. You’ll also definitely find some energy drinks during this process, and you need to drink 10 of them to complete a challenge as well.

To complete five Perfect Escape-based interactions, just find an exit and bring the appropriate escape items to it in order to trigger the QTE sequence. Pass the skill check with a perfect rating five times by pressing the right button when the line hits the small green section to cross this challenge off the list.

Finally, there are two combat-focused challenges in the Teenage Angst set. You need to hit five Klown noses with thrown objects, which is self-explanatory. Just search containers until you find a brick, baseball, or other item that lets you aim and throw. Then, find a Klown and chuck it at their nose. You don’t need to kill the Klown. Rinse and repeat five times to complete this challenge.

To escape Cocoons, you need to have a Knife in your inventory. If you’ve looted a Knife from a container and get Cocooned by a Klown, you’ll be prompted to escape. Just do this three times to complete the final Teenage Angst challenge!

That’s all there is to it for this challenge set! There are still a ton of challenge sets left for both humans and Klowns alike, so keep checking the challenges menu as you increase your player level to see what pops up. As you familiarize yourself with each map and its exits, these challenges should get much easier over time.
