Investigate Redline Rig, retrieve Doom's Helmet, and find Doom's Logs.

The first set of story quests for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is now available, and the “Are We Doomed?” questline teases the arrival of one of Marvel’s greatest villains. While the map is already Marvel-ified for the Absolute Doom season, the man himself has yet to make an appearance. This set of quests involves Hope and Jones investigating leads left by Victor von Doom in the wake of last season’s finale.

All “Are We Doomed?” quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4

There are six quests to complete in the “Are We Doomed?” questline in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.

  • Deal damage to opponents at Castle Doom, Doomstadt, or The Raft
  • Investigate the Redline Rig for evidence
  • Bring Doom’s helmet to Hope
  • Eliminate opponents from over 30 meters
  • Find Doom’s Logs at the memorial statue and the Fractured Four
  • Collect a control chip by hitting a headshot on Doom’s henchmen

Some of these quests are just filler challenges that require you to damage opponents in specific ways, but the rest require you to visit specific locations and find special items.

The first real mission of this questline requires you to head to Redline Rig and collect evidence. All you need to do is pick up a piece of armor left by Doctor Doom near the ruined Pandora’s Box. It’s on the northwest corner of the POI. The only thing you have to watch out for is other players, so be careful.

After you collect the piece of armor from Redline Rig, you have to deliver it to Hope to continue the story. She can be found at Snooty Steppes inside the easternmost house. Again, watch out for other players as you approach her location since everyone else is trying to get this quest done as well.

After finding Hope, you’ll have to eliminate three enemies from over 30 meters away before moving on to the next main story quest.

The next quest in the “Are We Doomed?” questline requires you to find a pair of Doom’s Logs in the northwestern section of the map. One can be found at the Memorial Statue landmark near Rebel’s Roost, while the other is located at the Fractured Four landmark south of Doomstadt.

Finally, the last quest in this chain requires you to collect a control chip from one of Doom’s henchmen. These are the AI bots that patrol Castle Doom and Doomstadt. Just find and eliminate one of them to complete this quest and cap off the “Are We Doomed?” questline.

More story quests will be released throughout Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, so stay tuned and check back often. These quests are the best way to quickly earn XP to level up your Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass and unlock skins like Gwenpool, War Machine, and Mysterio.
