The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a game centering about your own discovery around the world of Hyrule. Most of your time is spent running around finding new things, meeting new people, and completing the occasional side quest for those people. One person you’ll meet over the course of the story is Yona, the partner of Prince Sidon, prince of the Zoras. Yona will task you with a couple of things, mostly revolving around getting parts of the Zora Armor. One of the quests you’ll be taking on from her is A Token of Friendship, which tasks you with going to get the Zora Greaves. Here’s our guide on how to complete A Token of Friendship in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to complete A Token of Friendship in Tears of the Kingdom
When you receive A Token of Friendship in Tears of the Kingdom, you’re going to want to head to the East Reservoir Lake just outside of Zora’s Domain. When you arrive there, go into the whirlpool that you go in during the story section relating to Zora’s Domain. Once you get down there, you’re going to want to proceed until you reach a ledge looking out at the Ancient Zora Waterworks, which is now devoid of water unlike before. You can see this view in the image below.
Once you reach this place in Tears of the Kingdom, you can see a pillar in the center of the room. You’re going to want to run around either side of that pillar and follow it until you reach a hole. You can see this in the image above. After you fall down the hole, you will come to a room with a waterfall at the other side. Proceed through this room, and then behind the waterfall to find the chest that houses the Zora Greaves. This room is also home to a Stone Talus, you can fight this boss if you want, but you can totally skip it and just run behind the waterfall, get the grieves, and get out. Retrieving the grieves will also complete A Token of Friendship.
