Thankfully, it’s easy to do and is very much a current feature. All you have to do is open the game, select your save file, and instead of clicking ‘Start Game,’ navigate to the ‘Change World Settings.’ There, you’ll find the second option on the list, ‘Multiplayer,’ and from there, you can simply toggle it off or on. Yes, it is that easy! From there, you simply find the Invite Code for the world on the Options screen upon starting the game. This will allow your friends to join you.

The opposite is just as easy to do. If you want to go back to a single player world at any point, navigate back to this same setting. Then switch Multiplayer back off. Your computer performance will likely thank you for alleviating the burden of hosting a Multiplayer session of Palworld, especially if there are multiple people. However, if you’re playing single player, I advise you not to keep the multiplayer option on. Chances are you end up like me and the game throws a fit upon the next time booting up the save file. If this happens, you will be forced to change it back to single player. It’s a little annoying, but you might as well not keep it on.

That’s really all there is for how to change a Single Player server to Multiplayer in Palworld. Aren’t you so glad they made it so easy to save yourself the headache? If you need to create a dedicated server, we’ve got something for you there, too!
