Warzone is here for all of us “guys who have phones”, and unfortunately – just like every other Call of Duty release – there are some minor and major issues and inconveniences with the game. Well, here we go again. Here is how to change language in COD Warzone Mobile.
Warzone Mobile: How to change language
One of the very first things that players have been struggling with is changing the visual quality and the game’s language.
The peculiarity of COD Mobile and, in this case, Warzone Mobile, is that when you boot it up for the first time, your in-game customization options and even playability will be extremely limited. For example, I tried to change my language during the first Warzone match, and I was met with the following screen.
Now, greyed-out options are a pain in the you know what, because they will rarely tell you why they aren’t available for you to toy with. Fortunately, there isn’t a paywall that blocks the language options – at this point, you can expect anything from these mobile games. All you have to do to change your language is to play two full Warzone matches – which you are forced to by the way, so you don’t have any choice or say in the matter.
Once you have either won or lost your matches you will unlock the ability to change your language. The outcome doesn’t matter and you can probably just skip them by opening the pause menu and going back to the Main Menu, which will count as a loss. Next, do the following to change your language in Warzone Mobile:
Language change in Warzone Mobile
- Select the Settings menu in the Main Screen.
- Click on the Language option.
- Select the language you wish to apply to Warzone Mobile.
- You will be asked if you wish to download or change the language. It will depend on whether the language pack has been previously downloaded on your device or not.
- Click Yes and then wait for the download to finish, if applicable.
- Close Warzone Mobile and reopen it to see your language settings reflected.
Congrats! You will now be able to enjoy Warzone Mobile in any language available in the game. If you have a slow internet connection – and provided you don’t suffer from connection issues -, just wait for the download to finish properly and then reboot the game as instructed above. If for whatever reason the game doesn’t change languages, then continue to reboot the game until it does. That worked for me, at least.
