If I ever saw someone serve a seahorse as Sushi, I would immediately call whoever is in charge of Shushi and the protection of Seahorses and make a large fuss. However, Dave the Diver does it, and I’m not even that mad. They do look a little sad, laid there on a nice roll of rice, but there you go. It’s just another one of the many recipes available in the game. To catch seahorses in Dave the Diver, you will first need to have the right equipment and be at the point where you are tasked with catching the runaway seahorses for the village people.
Best ways to catch the Runaway Seahorses in Village in Dave the Diver
As you swim around the Sea Peoples village in Dave the Diver, you will notice a few seahorses just floating around. You may have also noticed them out and about in the ocean too. They’re only decorations prior to the acquisition of the bug net due to the fact that your harpoon would obliterate them.
When you are given the task of winning over the sea people, you will be given the mission to collect together all the seahorses. They have escaped and need to be corralled back to their stables. However, if you haven’t yet progressed far enough with the on-land story, you may not have the equipment to catch the runaway seahorses.
Catching the Seahorses requires you to have unlocked the bug net. You will acquire this after completing the Maki food challenge. On completion of this, she will give you a bug net with which to catch Cliones. This very same net will also catch your runaway seahorses amongst other tiny tasty sea snacks in Dave the Diver. Simply swim over the seahorses and press the spacebar.
