For those who don’t know, Palworld is a Pokémon-esque game with a few oddities added in. Aside from the fact that you can essentially attach cannons to a Lapras, the game allows you to catch more than Pals. In Palworld, players come across humans and thugs, some that are friendly, and others that aren’t. If you find one you want to lock inside a ball, here’s what you need to do.

First, like any creature you want to catch, you’ll need to lower their HP a bit to make it easier to catch. Then, go ahead and throw a Pal Sphere on them. You’ll normally start your capture rate at 25%, but it should increase quickly if you’ve lowered their health. If they happen to break out of the sphere, you can simply throw another one and attempt to catch again.

But once the capture rate reaches 100%, you will have successfully captured a human in Palworld. Humans can have a variety of different uses once captured, such as fighting for you in combat. Furthermore, humans can work at your base, or you can simply sell them for gold.

If you put them to work, most humans are, of course, good at handiwork and not much else. And unfortunately, humans you catch don’t have partner skills, so combat-wise, they aren’t anything special. Overall, most humans can be fairly useful if you want to put them to work at your base. But aside from that, the only thing captured humans are good for in Palworld is selling them.
