In Palworld, Verdash is a super useful Pal for both base life and team life, which isn’t seen too often. Acquiring this Pal, however, is a little trickier said than done. You’ll have to break the law to capture one or scorch your feet to breed it.
How to capture Verdash in Palworld
Capturing Verdash is both tricky and thrilling, as they aren’t just normal Pals that roam around the Palpagos islands. Instead, they only naturally spawn on No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary. This makes capturing Verdash difficult for several reasons.
All Pals in the Wildlife Sanctuaries are aggressive, meaning you’ll have to prepare for a rough fight when you get there, and alongside Verdash will the incredibly Jormuntide Ignis spawn, so you’re in for trouble if one picks a fight with you. Also, Verdash and all the other Pals are all over level 40, meaning they are exceptionally strong. You will need strong Pals as well as strong armor to survive for long.
This isn’t even mentioning that it is illegal to step foot on the Wildlife Sanctuaries, so if you’re spotted by a PIDF officer, you’ll become wanted, and PIDF Elite soldiers will start spawning in and shooting at you. Resistance is futile, only death will separate you from the PIDF.
So when trying to capture a Verdash, make sure you’ve got the following:
- At least a dozen Ultra Spheres (preferably Legendary Spheres)
- Strong Fire-type Pals (at least level 40)
- Refined Metal Armor
- A Pal that can fly or swim (to get to the island)
This would be the recommended list of equipment, although you can chance it like I did. I rushed over to the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary with 12 Hyper Spheres, a Crossbow, and my level 14 Nitewing. I did die twice in my shoddy attempt to grab a Verdash, and although I failed, something much better happened.
In the fight that broke out between the PDIF officers (I was spotted), the Verdash, and the Jormuntide Ignis, the Verdash was defeated, which was a shame. However, the Jormuntide Ignis was taking heavy damage from the PIDF Elites. With my Hyper Spheres, I tried my luck. Three tries later, the 7% chance pulled off and I came home with a Jormuntide Ignis. Not bad.
It is also worth noting that Verdash does spawn as a level 35 Field Boss in their own Sealed Realm. If you don’t want to brave the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, then capturing this boss might be the way to go.
Naturally, you’ll want a team of Fire-types at least level 30 to accompany you. Wear at least Metal Armor, although the Refined variant would be better. Bring some Ultra Spheres (or many Hyper Spheres) and try to capture the boss at the last possible moment.
How to breed Verdash in Palworld
If combat and capturing isn’t your style, then breeding Verdash might be the way to go. If you’ve got a proper Breeding Pen and Cake already set up, then you can go ahead and look for the right parents.
To breed Verdash, you need a Flambelle and an Incineram, it doesn’t matter who’s the male or female. Placing them in a Breeding Pen will produce a Huge Verdant Egg, which will eventually hatch into a Verdash.
Both Flambelles and Incinerams can be found in the lower left volcanic island. Flambelles on the northern and eastern side, and Incinerams on the southern and western side. Incinerams can be caught comfortably with Hyper Spheres, and Flambelles can be caught with any Sphere.
There we have it, every way for you to get hold of a Verdash in Palworld. Do you know what pairs well with a Verdash? An Anubis.
