The season 11 update to Sea of Thieves changed the way missions worked in the game. They were moved from various points of the map. With the reworked system, you can now buy, start, and complete quests all from the comfort of your own ship in Sea of Thieves.
How quests work in Sea of Thieves
Rather than having to blast all around the place to buy the various quests in Sea of Thieves, the whole process is now managed by the Quest Table. This all-in-one location can be found in the captain’s quarters of your ship. This streamlines game sessions massively, making for more action and less faffing.
The Quest Table is where you can start everything from Tall Tales to Voyages. This area allows you to buy, start, and then complete the various Sea of Thieves quests quickly and easily. Simply head to the table. Here, select what you want to do from the extensive list. Finally, you embark on your adventure. Once completed, turn your mission in at the Table for your rewards.
All about the Quest Table
The purpose of the Quest Table in Sea of Thieves is mostly to streamline the game’s ever-growing content. For new players, the sheer volume of activities and quests can be a little overwhelming. Compiling all the quests into one simple place where players can buy, start, and complete their Sea of Thieves quests makes everything much more accessible.
The table has carefully laid out sections where requirements and goals are easy to see and switch between. Using this new area, added in season 11, it becomes a sinch to quickly select from the whole array of quests available in the game. They display everything from the time needed to complete to the prospective reward.
Within the Quest Table, there is also the Discover tab. This is essential for any new or returning players to Sea of Thieves. It will carefully and thoroughly guide players through their journey on the high seas, ensuring nothing is missed, and all mechanics are understood. If you’re at a loose end for your next quest, the Discover tab will use its complex algorithm to suggest your next adventure to buy, start, and complete.
