Warzone Pacific Marco 5 class

How to build the best Call of Duty: Vanguard Marco 5 Akimbo class

Two is better than one.

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 4 is finally here. The launch of every new season brings more weapons for you to unlock and use. This time, a new weapon has joined the submachine gun category known as the Marco 5. You can unlock the weapon for free once you reach tier 15 of the Season 4 battle pass. Leveling up the Marco 5 will allow you unlock all the attachments you need to build the best Akimbo class in Vanguard.

The Marco 5 is the first submachine gun to have an Akimbo option in Vanguard which turns it into a hip fire machine. As a result, this class will focus on improving the firepower and hip fire elements of the weapon to allow you to shred through the opposition at close range. The gun is best suited to smaller multiplayer maps such as Das Haus and Shipment.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Marco 5 Akimbo class

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Botti 240mm VL
  • Stock: Botti HF Folding
  • Magazine: 8mm Nambu 60 Round Drums
  • Ammunition Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Kit: Fully Loaded
  • Proficiency: Akimbo

Let’s begin by breaking down the class. The first attachment is the Recoil Booster, which will increase the fire rate of your weapon. Pairing this with the Botti 240mm VL barrel further boosts your fire rate and make this Marco 5 build deadly in close-quarters combat. When you are selecting a stock, the Botti HF Folding is a viable option and adds many benefits to your gun. This includes better hip fire accuracy and faster sprint to fire, as well as aim down sight and aim walking movement speeds.

Moving on to your bullets, the 8mm Nambu 60 Round Drums magazine will provide you with greater recoil control and accuracy, movement speed, aim down sight speed, and reinforce your fire rate even further. Also, the Subsonic ammunition type is useful for keeping your shots hidden from the mini-map and therefore, enemy detection. The Fully Loaded kit will allow you to take the maximum starting ammunition to the battlefield.

Hip fire your way to victory

There are a few more attachments to note. The Fabric Grip keeps improving your sprint to fire speed and hip fire recoil recovery. Last but not least, equipping the Akimbo proficiency will allow you to carry two powerful Marco 5 submachine guns.

It is important to note that using the Akimbo option does not allow you to use an underbarrel. In addition, you are unable to aim down sight, so it does not matter what optic you use if you choose to add one to your build. Of course, the option of just using one Marco 5 rather than an Akimbo build is still available.

Along with this Akimbo Vanguard Marco 5 class, you should use a pistol in your secondary weapon slot. If you find yourself in a situation where an enemy is up ahead but you need to reload, swapping to your pistol is a faster solution. Since the launch of Vanguard, the Ratt has solidified itself as the best pistol in multiplayer.
