Getting around in LEGO Fortnite has been a major pain point for many players, but with the Bus Stations, we can finally catch the bus to travel to other stations in mere seconds. Here’s how to use and build Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite.
How to use Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite
Whether you find them in the wild or build them yourself, the Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite will all work the same.
Walk up to one and interact with it to open up the fast travel menu. You will be able to choose to travel to other bus stations that you’ve encountered and other special locations, like the Rebel Base or any Villages.
Once you’ve selected your destination, select “Confirm and Board.” A small countdown will appear, and then you’ll be rifted into the sky aboard the Battle Bus!
The bus will fly over to the location, and you can either wait for the countdown to finish to be ejected over your destination, or you can jump out early to freefall to a precise location.
Once you’ve landed, you would have successfully fast travelled the LEGO Fortnite way.
How to build Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite
Although having these Bus Stations scattered throughout the world is useful, you may want specific locations to have a Bus Station for easier travel. To build a Bus Station, however, you will need some advanced materials and a new material: Rift Shards.
Here are all the ingredients you need to build Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite:
- 4 Iron Bars
- 2 Malachite Slabs
- 6 Frostpine
- 3 Rift Shards
These resources are mostly endgame, so to set up your own specific network of Bus Stations, you’ll need to advance pretty far into the game.
To get Rift Shards to build the Bus Stations, you’ll need to destroy other Bus Stations found around the world. You’ll notice the Rift Shard inside the small glass case that’s powering the Bus Station.
To destroy a Bus Station, you’ll need to break the blue Bus Station itself, not the surrounding structures.
Now that you know everything you need to know about the Bus Stations in LEGO Fortnite, you can make your networks and travel with ease. Building a decent car can really help you get around, too, however.
