How to boost in Fortnite Rocket Racing

Boost ahead.

Fortnite Rocket Racing is here, and we’re all excited to be zooming around the tracks within Fortnite as there are some incredible tracks to race on. However, you’re going to need to get ahead of opponents with the helpful use of boosts.

Fortnite Rocket Racing: How to boost

Fortnite Rocket Racing pits players against each other in this closed arena racing game, similar to other titles such as Disney Speedstorm and classic racing games. However, players will be able to use some gimmick mechanics, such as flipping onto the other side of the wall and taking advantage of the turbo in-game to get ahead of other players.

The controls of any racing game can be a bit much to handle at first glance, and most likely, you’re going to want to get a quick refresher on the controls. To boost within Fortnite Rocket Racing, players will want to follow the control scheme for their respective platforms.

While using boost isn’t a complex maneuver within racing games — as it’s not anything compared to some of the aerial moves players will be able to use — it’s still vital.

However, players are still going to want to use the in-game boost as much as they can, as overtaking players will be essential, especially during straightaways.

In the future, we could see other limited-time modes revolving around Rocket Racing, where players get infinite boosts, or special power-ups for their vehicles, so that will be interesting to see.

For now, we’ll have to wait and see how the community receives Rocket Racing, as we’re sure it’ll go over well with the fanbase.
