Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to beat Penny Special Coach battle
Before you want to find Penny and challenge her for a Special Coach battle, you will first have to complete the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet epilogue. You will unlock said epilogue after finishing up the game’s main story as well as both DLC parts – The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. Once you finish the epilogue, you will have to find Penny in Mossui Town. Be wary that all her Pokémon cap at level 84, so be sure to farm levels before approaching this battle.

This battle is a little tricky since every single one of its Pokémon is of a different Type, and therefore, different weaknesses. Yes, Penny loves all her Eevee evolutions. Anyway, let’s check out any coincidences regarding each of her Pokémon weaknesses. First off, bring a powerful Bug Pokémon to handle both Umbreon and Lefeaon. For Vaporeon and Sylveon, I would pick Amoonguss since it is a Grass/Poison-type that handles both of Penny’s Pokémon’s weaknesses. Finally, any Groud Pokémon for Joleton and Flareon will suffice. Other than that, be sure to level up your Pokémon to level 90 or above so that you can handle this battle properly.
