Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to beat Arven Special Coach battle

The Arven Special Coach battle is one of the last three Special Coach encounters you will find in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. To do so, you will have to complete the Epilogue, which requires you to finish the game’s and its DLCs’s story, as well as completing the Academy Ace Tournament at least once. Once you finish the Epilogue, you will need to travel to Mossui Town and interact with him to start the Special Coach battle. Be sure to bring Pokémon that are fully leveled up since Arven’s Pokémon will cap at level 82.

If we take a closer look a Arven’s Pokémon, there are a couple of threads that connect all of them and these are Fighting and Flying weaknesses. Thankfully, there are two Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet that have the Fighting-Flying type and these are Hawlucha and Flamigo. I would be extremely careful with Cloyster because it is an Ice-type, making it strong against both Hawlucha and Flamigo, so use Fighting moves to get rid of it fast. All the other Pokémon in Arven’s selection are either weak against Fighting or Flying attacks, so you will be able to take care of them all, just be sure to level up both of these Pokémon or your Fighting and Flying Pokémon.
